Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 is a $249.99 Secret Lair bundle that goes on sale October 19, 2026, at MagicSecretLair.com, limited to two per customer. It holds one 24-booster box of Mystery Booster Commander Edition, the four-card Secret Gallery: Atlanta foil drop and four promo cards.

Wizards announced the box on October 5 in the official Festival in a Box announcement and calls it the first chance to get a full box of the set. Here is every confirmed card, what existing copies cost, and the arithmetic on $249.99.

Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 costs $249.99 and goes on sale October 19

  • Price: $249.99, up $50 from the Amsterdam 2026 box, which was $199.99 in July with 15-card Mystery Booster 2 packs, per EDHREC and GameDaily.

  • Set debut: MagicCon: Atlanta, November 13 to 15, 2026. The new cards become Commander legal November 13, per Wizards.

  • On sale: Monday, October 19, 2026, while supplies last. Wizards has not published a start time.

  • Where to buy: only at MagicSecretLair.com.

  • Limit: two per customer.

  • Booster box: one Mystery Booster Commander Edition box, 24 boosters of 20 cards each.

  • Secret Lair drop: Secret Gallery: Atlanta Foil Edition, with Parallax Tide, Regrowth, Viridian Revel and Assassin's Trophy.

  • Promos: full-art, textless foil copies of Dance of the Dead, Tana, the Bloodsower and Tymna the Weaver, plus the playtest card Auspicious Aquarium.

Mystery Booster Commander Edition packs hold 20 cards built for Commander Draft

The set is more than 2,000 cards from across Magic's history, and every booster has the same six slots, per Wizards:

  • 15 common or uncommon cards, three in each color

  • 1 reprint wildcard of any rarity

  • 1 rare or mythic rare reprinted commander

  • 1 new-to-Magic commander

  • 1 Future Sight frame card or, in fewer than 1% of packs by Wizards' slot odds, a traditional foil acorn-stamp card

  • 1 playtest card

The new commander is traditional foil 4.75% of the time because Wizards set that slot at 95.25% non-foil, or about one foil per box (24 × 0.0475 = 1.14).

Commander Draft, as Wizards lays it out, seats eight players who each open three boosters, take two cards per pick, and build 60-card decks around a commander from the pool. That is 24 boosters, so one box is one draft.

Mystery Booster Commander Edition adds 60 new commanders, and eight break deckbuilding rules

Wizards revealed all 60 new-to-Magic cards on August 3, and every one can be a commander. Eight carry the new rulebreaker ability word, which changes what the deck may contain. Whtz, the Bibliophile removes the maximum deck size and draws more cheaply if the deck started at 200 cards or more, which is a shuffling problem rather than a rules problem. Ashaya's Enduring Bond is a legendary sorcery that can be a commander.

The full list, with rulebreakers marked:

  • White: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest · Grakk the Pacifist · Nivea, Beloved Battlemage · Seluma, Light of Aysen (rulebreaker) · Worzel, the Protector · Yume, Chronicler of Valor

  • Blue: Dyfed, the Guiding Hand · Flitwing, Lyev Detective · Grandmother Goby · Gustha Ebbasdotter · Sash and Waistcoat, Unmen · Tolabow, Loch Rascal (rulebreaker)

  • Black: Boss Uramon, Shadow's Reach · Istvan, Butcher of Eln · Kuroki, Thief of Talents · Miss Highwater · Olinda the Oblivious · Sahir, Visitor in Darkness · Thomil, the Destroyer · Valko Indorian (rulebreaker)

  • Red: Balefang the Unslayable · Chira, All In · Dragon's Smile · Jabs, Mistress of Mockery · Joven and Chandler · Matoc, Lavamancer · The Unluckiest Planeswalker (rulebreaker)

  • Green: Autumn Willow, Harmony · Blor the Impervious · Glava, Five-Advents Mage · Greensleeves · Maular, the Next Evolution (rulebreaker) · Meatsqueak, Hoard Lord

  • Multicolor: Arzakon · Ashaya's Enduring Bond · Chief Magistrate of Mercadia · Davvol, Evincar of Rath · Elda, Conjurer of Spectacle · Feroz, Ulgrotha's Warden · Grizzlegom, Hurloon Hero (rulebreaker) · Homer, the Hermit · Itazura, Lingering Wick · Jandor, Fortuned Traveler · Lyna, Veil of Vengeance · The Madcap Jester · Massimo, the Magician · The Muckslinger Gang · Nephilim Epochal · Olag and Miau, New Friends · Rikala, Homarid King · Selenia, the Cursed Heart · Sifa Grent · Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned · Tsagan, Raider Warlord · Uugguu, the Omniplasm · Venser, Visionary Traveler · The Weaver King · Whtz, the Bibliophile (rulebreaker) · Zagorka, Mother of Sanctum

  • Colorless: The Everforger (rulebreaker)

The playtest slot is less new. Wizards says the 121 playtest cards are the same selection that appeared in Mystery Booster 2, including Subgoyf, Naturalize 2 and Mox Poison, and none are legal in Constructed formats. The one new playtest card is the promo, Auspicious Aquarium, designed and illustrated by Mark Rosewater.

Prices are Scryfall's USD prices for the cheapest existing paper printing on October 7, 2026. The copies in the box are new and unpriced.

Parallax Tide, Viridian Revel and Dance of the Dead each have one earlier paper printing, so all three are first reprints. Parallax Tide's Nemesis foil is listed at $199.99, but that is a 26-year-old pack foil and says little about a Secret Lair foil. MTG Rocks says the Secret Gallery total falls short of expectations for most Secret Lairs.

Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 is worth $249.99 only if the booster box carries about $200

  • Secret Gallery: Atlanta: $15 + $0.48 + $1.43 + $1.02 = $17.93

  • Promos: $14.92 + $4.83 + $10.76 = $30.51

  • Booster box: $249.99 minus $48.44 of priced cards ($17.93 + $30.51) = $201.55, or about $8.40 per booster

MTG Rocks guesses the box "could easily be worth $200+." That is an estimate: no sealed box has sold yet, so there is no market price to check it against.

Supply is the risk. MTG Rocks, citing Mark Rosewater, says supply should not be a major problem, and Wizards lists the set for four more MagicCons in 2027. A box also holds at most 24 of the 60 new commanders.

Our read: this is a draft night for eight at about $31 a seat ($249.99 / 8 = $31.25). If you want one specific commander, singles after November 13 are the cheaper route. This is not financial advice.

Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2026 sells only at MagicSecretLair.com, two per customer

Wizards has not given a start time or a ship date. The Corn Maze Superdrop on October 12 opens at 9 a.m. PT with a pre-queue at 8 a.m. PT, per Wizards, and that is the closest guide available. EDHREC calls this a limited-stock run and reported in April that the Las Vegas 2026 box sold out online. MTG Rocks reports the set is not getting a full retail release, and Wizards has not said if the bundle will be sold on site in Atlanta.
