The four decks at a glance
Federation Fleet (Jeskai, Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary), Landing Party (Bant, Commander Spock), Klingon Fury (Mardu, Worf, Defiant Commander), and We Are the Borg (Esper, The Borg Queen). Two Starfleet decks, one Klingon aggro deck, one Borg villain deck. Every deck ships in a standard edition ($74.99 MSRP) and a Collector's Edition ($159.99 MSRP).
Federation Fleet (Jeskai, Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary)
The Next Generation flagship deck. Jean-Luc Picard, Luminary leads a Jeskai Spacecraft build that uses the station mechanic from Edge of Eternities to charge ships into threats. His ability word is seek out, a Commander-only trigger on the second card you draw each turn that puts charge counters on a Spacecraft. Whether the deck also plays the set's Federation ability word is confirmed on decklist day, October 27. It is the engine-forward, go-tall option, and the slowest of the four to get going. Full breakdown: Federation Fleet upgrade guide.
Landing Party (Bant, Spock)
The Original Series deck and the most beginner-friendly of the four. Commander Spock fronts a Bant lands build. His ability word is strange new worlds, which counts the differently named lands you control, so each new nonbasic land matters more than another basic. Whether the rest of the deck is built around landfall is confirmed on decklist day, October 29. Cheap and easy to upgrade. Full breakdown: Landing Party upgrade guide.
Klingon Fury (Mardu, Worf)
The aggro deck. Worf, Defiant Commander leads a Mardu Klingons build that attacks fast and wide, with a sub-theme of disabling opposing artifacts and enchantments. Like most aggro precons, it wants upgrades to close games. Full breakdown: Klingon Fury upgrade guide.
We Are the Borg (Esper, the Borg Queen)
The villain deck and the early fan favorite. The Borg Queen uses the assimilate keyword to convert creatures into Borg while Esper steals and copies the table's best cards. Assimilate is not exclusive to this deck: Borg Cube carries it in the main set. The grindy control-combo pick. Full breakdown: We Are the Borg upgrade guide.

The Collector's Editions
Every one of the four decks has a Collector's Edition counterpart. Per Wizards' July 14, 2026 announcement, the standard Commander deck is $74.99 MSRP and the Collector's Edition is $159.99 MSRP. The Collector's Edition has the same cards, all in surge foil, with a borderless face commander. If you are buying the deck to keep your captain foil on the battlefield, that is the box to preorder. The Borg Queen and Picard editions are the ones collectors are watching most. Store prices can differ from MSRP.
