The KPop Demon Hunters MTG Secret Lair is one drop of seven cards, called How It's Done. It goes on sale October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT as part of the Corn Maze Superdrop, at $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil. All seven are instants, sorceries and enchantments. There are no creatures and no Huntr/x commander.
Wizards revealed the cards on September 30 in the official Corn Maze Superdrop announcement, almost a year after Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks first confirmed the crossover on the company's Q3 2025 earnings call. Here's every card, what each one costs as a single today, and what the reveal did to our spec watchlist.

Price: $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil.

Worth the queue? Our verdict on How It's Done
Price: $29.99 non-foil / $39.99 foil (MSRP), on sale October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT. Sold in limited quantities, while supplies last, not print to demand. Sellout risk: high. KPop Demon Hunters is the biggest crossover in the Superdrop, and its fans are not all Magic players, so demand is hard to predict.
Singles value today: the new Secret Lair printings have no market price yet, so the comparison is the cards themselves. Cheapest other printings of the same 7 cards: $34.10.
Verdict: For fans only. Seven cards Commander players actually run, at roughly what the singles cost, with no discount for buying the drop. The value sits in Swan Song ($10.58) and Underworld Breach ($7.01).
All eight Corn Maze drops get the same verdict treatment in our Corn Maze Superdrop guide, and the method is in how we judge a drop.
Prices checked October 12, 2026. They come from Scryfall and will move, and a reprint usually pushes the original card's price down once the drop ships. This is our read, not financial advice.

KPop Demon Hunters MTG card list
Every card links to its current TCGplayer listings. Prices are the cheapest non-foil printing of each card on Scryfall, as of October 7, 2026.
Card | Type | Cheapest copy today | Why Commander players run it |
|---|---|---|---|
Instant | $5.48 | Two-mana hexproof for you and your whole board, with indestructible on top if you give an opponent the gift. | |
Instant | $0.71 | Three-mana indestructible for your team, and a common go-wide finisher. | |
Enchantment | $6.72 | A blue combo piece that untaps a creature over and over. Paired with the right mana creature, it makes infinite mana. | |
Instant | $10.26 | One-mana counterspell for instants, sorceries and enchantments. One of the most-played blue cards in Commander. | |
Sorcery | $1.82 | A two-mana tutor. It finds a Demon, or any card once you have delirium. | |
Sorcery | $1.55 | Mass reanimation that every opponent can join. Its only other printing is Commander 2013. | |
Enchantment | $6.99 | Lets you cast cards from your graveyard. One of the strongest combo engines in Commander. |
KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair is worth $29.99 only if you play the seven cards
The seven reprints in How It's Done cost $33.53 as singles on October 7, 2026, counting the cheapest non-foil printing of each card on Scryfall. That is $3.54 over the $29.99 non-foil price, and the total was $32.77 when this page first counted it on September 30. Three cards carry it: Swan Song at $10.26, Underworld Breach at $6.99 and Freed from the Real at $6.72 make up $23.97.
Seven singles | $33.53 |
How It's Done, non-foil | $29.99 |
Difference | +$3.54 |
A $3.54 cushion is not a margin of safety. MTG Rocks put the same seven cards at $31 on September 30 and Wargamer put them at $36 on MTG Goldfish prices a day later, so the estimates disagree by more than the cushion. A Secret Lair also adds supply. The cheapest Dawn's Truce is already a Secret Lair printing from July, at $5.48 against $9.78 for the Bloomburrow original, and Swan Song was the bonus promo of the September 14 superdrop. Wargamer says the drop feels like a minimum viable product.
If you play these cards in Commander, the drop is seven of them at roughly singles price, and MTG Rocks counts six of the seven as Commander staples. If you are buying to resell, the numbers do not support it.
The full Superdrop, with all 46 cards and a value ranking of every drop, is in our Corn Maze Superdrop guide.
When does the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair come out?
October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET), only at MagicSecretLair.com, as part of the Corn Maze Superdrop. Wizards announced the date on September 29 and revealed the cards on September 30. Every other confirmed date is on our full 2026 to 2027 MTG release calendar.
Is it a full Commander deck or just a Secret Lair drop?
A Secret Lair drop. It's seven reprinted cards, not a Commander deck, and none of them is a creature that could lead a deck. That rules out the Miku-style outcome where a new face commander sends its pairing cards up.
KPop Demon Hunters is getting more Magic cards, Wizards said on October 4, with no date attached
Wizards said on October 4, 2026, that more KPop Demon Hunters is planned. The Secret Lair account posted on X that the crowd is already chanting for more and that more is planned. MTG Rocks reported the post on October 5 and reads it as a response to player complaints about how little is in How It's Done. Wizards named no cards, no product and no date, and MTG Rocks states that nothing beyond the post is confirmed. If you are waiting for Rumi, Mira or Zoey as legendary creatures, this is a reason to wait and not yet a promise.
How our KPop watchlist did
We published a spec watchlist before the reveal. The honest scorecard: it missed.
Bard Class, Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Shadowspear all assumed Huntr/x would print as creatures. They didn't.
Be'lakor, the Dark Master and Raphael, Fiendish Savior assumed the Saja Boys would print as Demons. They didn't either. Demonic Counsel, which can fetch a Demon, is as close as the drop gets.
Kaya, Ghost Assassin and other Kaya foils were a flavor bet that had nothing to land on.
The logic behind the list was sound: new face commanders move their pairing cards, as Miku did with Trostani. This drop simply has no face commander. If you bought any of those cards on our list, the reason to hold them for this drop is gone. We said watch, not buy, and that's why.
What the reveal means for prices
A Secret Lair is a reprint, and a reprint adds supply. The cards most likely to soften:
Swan Song (about $10). It was also the bonus promo on the Masters of the Universe Superdrop, so this is its second Secret Lair in a month.
Freed from the Real and Underworld Breach (about $7 each), the other two cards with real value.
Tempt with Immortality, which has had one printing until now. It's cheap, so the move would be small.

KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair FAQ
What cards are in the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair?
Dawn's Truce, Unbreakable Formation, Freed from the Real, Swan Song, Demonic Counsel, Tempt with Immortality and Underworld Breach.
When does the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair come out?
October 12, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT, only at MagicSecretLair.com.
How much is the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair?
$29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil.
Is there a Rumi, Mira or Zoey Magic card?
No. The drop has no creatures and no character names, so none of Huntr/x or the Saja Boys appear as cards.
Is the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair worth it?
The seven singles cost $33.53 on October 7, 2026, which is $3.54 over the $29.99 non-foil price. That is worth it if you play the cards or want the art, and too thin a margin to buy as an investment.
Will there be more KPop Demon Hunters Magic cards?
Wizards says so. The Secret Lair account posted on October 4, 2026, that more is planned, without naming cards, a product or a date. MTG Rocks reported the post on October 5 and notes that nothing else is confirmed.
What time does the KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair queue open?
The pre-queue opens at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. ET) on October 12, 2026, one hour before the sale starts at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET). Wizards assigns everyone in the pre-queue a random place in line when the sale starts, so joining at 8 a.m. PT earns no better place than joining shortly before 9 a.m. PT. Anyone who arrives after 9 a.m. PT joins the back of the line in order of arrival.
