All four Collector's Edition surge foil decks on Amazon, $639.96. Amazon does not sell the Lords of Hel Collector's Edition on its own yet.
Release day is April 9, 2027. Local game stores and TCGplayer are taking preorders too.
How will Lords of Hel play?
The packaging lists Generate Tokens and Sacrifice, with waves of undead tokens. Make bodies, sacrifice them for value, and drain the table.
Of the four decks, this one already has the most spoiled support. Several main-set black and red cards make tokens or reward sacrificing.
Who is the Lords of Hel commander?
Not revealed yet. Hela is on the box, and several outlets call Hela the commander, but that is a reading of the box art, not a card reveal. MTG Rocks also warned that some early deck details trace back to a Reddit post that may be fake. We will add the commander's full text here when Wizards shows it.

No card from inside the Lords of Hel deck has been spoiled. None of these is confirmed in the deck. They are main-set cards in Lords of Hel's colors, and most of them play to its token and sacrifice themes. Hela, Mistress of Darkness is mono-black and in the main set, so the deck's Hela commander will be a different card.
Hela, Mistress of Darkness ({4}{B}{B} 6/6 God Sorcerer Villain, mythic). Whenever a player loses life during your turn, you may make that many tapped 2/2 Zombies, once per turn. The back half, Dark Tutor, is a Vengeance sorcery you cast from the graveyard to tutor any card for 3 life.
Magik, Illyana Rasputin ({1}{B}{R} 3/3 Mutant Sorcerer Hero, mythic). Exiles your top card each upkeep and lets you play it. Sacrifice two or more permanents in a turn and she can transform into Darkchild, Demon Uncaged.
Rise from the Nether ({6}{R} Sorcery, uncommon). Makes a 3/1 Mindless-One token for each noncreature, nonland card in your graveyard.
Hela's Arcanum ({3}{B}{B} Instant, rare). Spend up to five {P} on modes: deathtouch pumps, a return-when-it-dies shield, or a sweeper that kills every non-Zombie creature with power 3 or less.
The Darkhold ({1}{B}{B} Legendary Artifact, mythic). Tap it to add a sin counter and draw a card per counter, then lose 1 life per card in your hand. Its eight-mana ability sets every life total to the lowest one at the table.

The Lords of Hel Collector's Edition (surge foil)
Every Darkhold Destiny Commander deck has a Collector's Edition, and its cards are surge foil (ICv2, ComicsBeat). NerdSnack and Draftsim report that all 100 cards in the deck are surge foil and the contents otherwise match the regular deck.
Price is the open question. Amazon US sells all four Collector's Edition decks together for $639.96, and its listing says all 100 cards in each deck are surge foil. No single-deck Collector's Edition listing or official MSRP has been posted. For comparison, Draftsim notes the 2026 Marvel Super Heroes Collector's decks had a $160 MSRP.
If you only want Lords of Hel in surge foil, wait for a per-deck listing before preordering the four-deck set.
